Identification of operational solutions that will improve product life and customer site productivity, to ensure that products function/selection properly is also part of his/her responsibilities.
Technical Sales Support calls to key agents, reps, and/or customers personnel. Travel with and make joint sales calls with agents and/or rep sales personnel as required.
Provide expert opinion and analyse differences of various available technology options
Handles customer issues, quality control feedback to Technical Manager.
Establish and maintain superior product knowledge and be capable of explaining features and benefits with product demonstration as well as excellent oral presentation.
Takes pre-emptive action to prevent technical error/pre-mature product breakage.
Troubleshoots customer problems using extensive products knowledge of solutions and resources.
Takes customer orders, performs consultative selling to customers,
Recommend new products and product enhancements. Assist in the development of new tools, modification of existing tools as requested by reps and/or customers.
Ideally the successful candidate will have a strong trade or engineering aptitude with a Technical or Tertiary qualification in either chemical, mechanical engineering or related field. Your technical ability and sales experience together with your enthusiasm, strong communication skills both written and verbal, ability to manage and prioritise workload, commitment and a desire to succeed mean you are the ideal candidate for this technical sales role. This role would suit a Technical person or an individual who has worked for several years and wants a more challenging career.
